The purpose of a screening for CKD in cats is represented by the early detection of the disease, which would improve the management of patients and their quality of life, offering longer survival times. The screening program for CKD is dedicated to Veterinarians and intends to provide an experience in the field of veterinary medicine, useful to guide the choices and define the development of future programmes, thereby facilitating the creation of a control system, which would give back this activity in terms of reliability tests and epidemiological monitoring.
